Ryan Duffy

After working as a tradie for 15 years Ryan started his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree and graduated in 2016.

With a desire to study and enhance his skills he has continued his education, becoming proficient in orthopedics and musculoskeletal issues. Ryan has enhanced his Musculoskeletal skills through various professional development courses run through the Australian Physiotherapy Association and enjoys treating all aspects of musculoskeletal and sport injuries.

Ryan has completed courses and is trained in clinical Pilates, dry needling, headache treatment and vestibular rehabilitation. His understanding of biomechanics allowed him to be a competitive cyclist, runner and continue off road racing for many years and with his knowledge of the requirements of manual labour he is able to put together treatment plans that are unique to the client and appropriate for the problem.

In his spare time Ryan has volunteered for numerous overseas charities, working in hospitals, animal sanctuaries and schools. He has also been fortunate enough to trek to Everest base camp and follow the Tour de France, Giro D'Italia and continues to work for the Tour down under riding on support vehicles during the race.

Ryan has extensive clinical and life experience and greatly values client education and empowerment. He provides sound structures in client management of Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedics and Sporting conditions and is an avid believer in active management and client participation adopting a biopsychosocial approach of treating the person as a whole and takes into account what the client wants to adapt the program to suit them.
