Louise Williams

Louise Williams

Louise graduated from Sydney University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Physiotherapy). Louise initially worked in private practice in Sydney- with a strong focus on sports physio. She provided physiotherapy to rugby union, AFL and netball teams - providing both acute sideline treatment and also rehabilitating injured players back to competition.

She has worked in Canberra and the UK in multi-disciplinary physiotherapy clinics that worked closely with National and local government agencies. These clinics focussed on work related injuries and workstation assessments. Louise has worked in public and private hospitals in NSW, including rehabilitation hospitals. She has extensive experience of working in both acute and sub-acute physiotherapy areas - specifically areas that focussed on orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation.

Louise is qualified and experienced with teaching both reformer and mat Pilates. She has taught all levels of Pilates - ranging from beginner level to advanced athletes. Louise is trained in women’s health physiotherapy: pelvic floor management, pregnancy-related injuries and postpartum management, and thoroughly enjoys the significant improvement this area has on women’s confidence and enjoyment in life.

Louise moved to Adelaide in 2020, and is still enjoying all that Adelaide and regional South Australia has to offer. She enjoys travelling with her young family and also regularly practicing Pilates herself.
