Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Leading Edge Physiotherapy has positions available in our expanding business for motivated, enthusiastic therapists with a high attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest possible level of physiotherapy services.

We are looking for experienced, well-presented, self-motivated professional individuals with a positive, attitude to assist in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal injuries. Our clientele range from elite and sub-elite athletes through to the general population recovering orthopaedic surgery.

The successful applicant(s) will demonstrate:

  • A professional and friendly manner

  • Desire to develop skills and clinical pattern recognition in both the clinical setting and on the sporting field

 

Under the supervision of titled musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapists that have experience with sporting teams locally, nationally and internationally (including the 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020 & 2024 Olympics) you will be personally mentored in any area of professional knowledge required - allowing you to consolidate and expand on your current knowledge and skill set.

The positions are up to 38 hours at our Eastern suburbs locations, with a generous remuneration package. We also offer an excellent in-house PD support program and mentoring.

Leading Edge Physiotherapy is a well-established, dynamic private practice. We provide inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy services at our stand-alone rooms at Rose Park, within Western Hospital, Henley Beach and also within Burnside Hospital, Toorak Gardens, South Australia.

Leading Edge Physiotherapy has a position available in our expanding business for a motivated, enthusiastic therapist with a high attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest possible level of physiotherapy services. We're looking for the right person to join our experienced physiotherapists and remedial massage therapists who provide services across a wide range of specialties and settings including:

  • Musculoskeletal and sports
  • Orthopaedic inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation
  • Spinal chronic pain management
  • Exercise rehabilitation

  • Current Australian driver's license

Orthopaedic Inpatient & Community Care Physiotherapist | Private Practice

 Casual - up to 30 Hours/Week 


Leading Edge Physiotherapy is seeking a casual orthopaedic inpatient & community care Physiotherapist. Leading Edge Physiotherapy is a well-established, dynamic private practice. We provide orthopaedic inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy services at Western Hospital, Henley Beach and Burnside Hospital, Toorak Gardens, South Australia. 

This role would encompass a mix of morning orthopaedic inpatients combined with afternoon community care visits to these post-operative patients once they have discharged home. A great opportunity to see a patient's journey from surgery through to full rehabilitation. 

RESPONSES MUST BE RECEIVED by 5:00PM Friday 30th August 2024.

Application requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration and APA membership.
  • Previous experience in orthopaedic inpatient physiotherapy preferred.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly and self motivated.
  • Flexibility with the ability to service the caseload which may require evening and weekend work
  • A desire to provide the best possible client care essential.
  • Current drivers license with access to car for home visits.
  • Current senior first aid and CPR.
  • Current WWCC and Police check preferable, but can be acquired on commencement if required.
  • The role will require the successful applicant to be able to service the variable caseload in a timely manner which will require regular evening and weekend work, as well as home visits to patients as part of our community care services.

 

The opportunity exists to service these orthopaedic patients both as an inpatient and then in their homes once discharged from the hospital, through RITH programs funded by third parties including specific health funds.

It is expected that the casual inpatient hours would be based Tuesday - Saturday mornings, with the community care home visits occurring weekdays (Monday - Friday).
